With more than 31 years of industry experience, David has successfully represented and negotiated the sale or acquisition of hundreds of companies in both stock and asset sales as a Certified Business Intermediary. Prior to co-founding WPM & Associates, he was a principal at Singer, Whitmore & Associates Business Brokers in Bingham Farms, Mich. In addition, he has personally owned and successfully operated five closely held companies. He is a member of the International Business Brokers Association, Midwest Business Brokers and Intermediaries, M&A Source, and is past president of the Michigan Business Brokers Association State Board and its Metro Chapter. In 2005 David was named “Broker of the Year” by the Michigan Business Brokers Assocation.
James A. Prokes

Jim has more than 21 years of business management experience with companies ranging from $1 million to $340 million in annual revenues. As the owner of multiple companies, Jim truly understands the business transfer process on a personal level and brings unique entrepreneurial knowledge to his role as partner. Before acquiring and founding his own businesses, Jim held the position of CFO for a large conglomerate from 1996-2000 and there he was involved in over 8 medium and large acquisitions.
Jeffery V. Micallef

Jeff’s 21 year career lends focused expertise in the areas of business development, business marketing and services experience. Prior to Jeff’s affiliation with WPM & Associates, Jeff acquired or co-founded three other Michigan based businesses, MiPro Consulting, Staff Connections and Bleu Cheese Properties, where he remains a key member of the businesses’ leadership teams. He also spent nine years with ADP and then nine years at PeopleSoft, where he served as Strategic Accounts Director, responsible for sustaining and expanding relationships with PeopleSoft’s most strategic accounts headquartered throughout the Midwest. Some of those accounts include Ford Motor Company, General Motors, DaimlerChrysler, Kelly Services, Amerisure, AAA Michigan, Border/Waldenbooks, , Dominos Pizza, and Lear Corporation. Jeff holds a BBA from the University of Michigan and is currently a Trustee on the Huron Valley Educational Foundation. |
